Group Rules
1. Stay Focused on Observation
This group is about learning to observe dogs. Focus on canine body language, behavior, communication, and interactions. Off-topic discussions, including general pet advice, or personal pet stories, should be shared in other appropriate groups.
2. Be Respectful of Others’ Privacy
Being in this group requires mutual trust. Authentic expressive discussions, make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
3. Be Respectful and Kind
We're all in this tougher to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect and be on time. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
4. Sharing Experiences Only, No training advice
To ensure consistency and quality of advice, we ask that members discussions be based on an ethical approach to dog behavior. Please share your personal experiences and stories, and avoid sharing outdated or harmful methods. Direct training advice will be provided by our qualified dog trainers in the group to ensure the information shared is accurate and aligns with our ethical training methods.
5. Posting Content
To keep things easy to follow and ensure everyone gets the support they need, we ask that all questions be posted only in our Teacher Tips Tuesday Q&A thread. Post or comments outside of that thread may be removed to help keep the group organized and respectful of everyone's time. Thanks for understanding and being part of our community!
6. Keep it a Safe Space for Learning
Sharing verified information - while we encourage you to share your experiences as a dog parent or handler, any authoritative information should be deferred to Canine Assistance Puerto Rico.
7. Moderation Decisions Are Final
Admin is here to keep the group educational and welcoming. If a post or comment is removed, please respect the decision. Videos not clearly showing ethical approaches to observing will be removed. Repeated rule violations may lead to removal from the group.
8. Communication in English
To ensure clear and inclusive communication, all posts and comments in this group must be in English. As an international group, using English allows everyone to participate and understand the discussions. Post and comments in other languages will be automatically deleted. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to make our community welcoming for all members.
